Giveaway Monday! Do You Love Your Pet? Of course you do!

ecloth giveaway

One of the first posts I felt compelled to write when I started blogging a few months ago was about my most favorite cleaning products, the E-Cloth Polishing Cloth.  I heart them.  I really do.  My husband jokes that someone needs to put me behind a booth with a headset microphone at the state fair and I’d sell them like hotcakes….because I am sold.  Any product that does an excellent job and uses ZERO chemicals is a winner in my book (apparently Real Simple loves their products as much as me, because e-cloth won in more then one category in their cleaning-products road test).

It still ranks as one of my most popular posts, and I guess that’s because we all want to know how to save time, use less chemicals, and be happy with the outcome.

I was delighted when e-cloth contacted me about doing a sponsored post on their pet line.  I had no idea they even had a pet line!  It was providential when they generously offered me the Pet Home & Travel bed to review, as Nathan had just mentioned a few days before that we needed to buy Scout a new dog bed.

Scout sarahandtheboysblog

The e-cloth bed is very well made.  I had my doubts at first about the shape, because Scout has always liked those traditional dog beds that are shaped like a doughnut, so he can snuggle up in the middle.  He’s picky about his dog beds.  Apparently high maintenance sleeping runs in the family.  We have found him drag many dog beds out through the garage and into the backyard if he deems them unacceptable.  It does not matter how many times we bring it back in, when he rejects a dog bed, he rejects it whole-hardheartedly, forever and ever.  Amen.

This ecloth pet bed has the ability to be a travel bed or an at-home bed, or both.  I was impressed by it’s capability to roll up small with velcro to hold it closed, making it convenient to store or travel with.

It’s washable (I have not washed it yet, but do plan to soon), from what I can tell the seams are well-sewn…one side is plus, the other is a very cute check pattern.  The patterned side is a durable fabric that I would probably describe as an outdoor or some sort of “sunbrella” style fabric, but still soft.  It’s cushy enough for your pet, but not bulky.

Honestly, it didn’t matter what I thought.  Scout was the one that has to sleep on it, and as I already mentioned, he’s picky!  It sat for a day or two while he circled around it….sniffed it….considered his options.  Finally, one day, he gave it the “Scout Seal Of Approval”.

Friends, that’s about as reliable as the “Good Housekeeping” seal or an endorsement from Real Simple magazine.

He’s a satisfied client, I would say, wouldn’t you agree?

  1. Scout looks so cute in there, Sarah! I have an older Boxer who has sore legs, poor girl. I love that she is so sweet and watchful of my children. When they play outside, she goes wherever the baby goes! So sweet!

  2. I have two cats who are a world-class comedy team. Not a day passes without our family being entertained by their hilarious antics. I’ll admit that I struggle to keep our house fur-free, but they are well worth the extra time spent pushing a vacuum.

  3. Everyone is smitten with our new bulldog , Bella. She’s so adorable that even her snores are endearing. One of our favorite things about her is the way she loves people. She always wants to be with someone. She sleeps in the room with my kiddos and her stinky bed could use an update!

  4. Love this! We have an almost 2 year old German Shorthaired Pointer named, Mocha. 🙂 Mocha is wild, spunky, and full of energy. All that aside, my favorite thing about our dog is her presence. Sounds weird, but I love just knowing that Mocha is there, always wanting to be with you no matter what you’re doing. 🙂

  5. I love this! We have an almost 2 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, named Mocha. She is spunky, wild, but my favorite thing about Mocha is her presence. She is always there, ready for anything. When I cook, she hangs out in the kitchen (probably cause she gets dropped food), she follows me to the laundry room, she even tries to come in the bathroom with me! Our kids love her snuggles and kisses the most!

  6. This looks like a great bed. I love the pattern!! My two black labs, Bennie and Bonnie would live to fight over a comfy bed like this. Bonnie who is a year and a half, and weighs half as much as Ben usually wins. Pushy little sister.

  7. We have 2 leopard geckos. My favorite things about our lizards are watching our boys take responsibility and watching the lizards eat! We are still thinking about getting a dog. Maybe if we won a dog bed it would push us over the edge!

  8. I like the concept of this. I would need three of them as I have three boxers who…yes…sleep in the house. It definitely would be tested at my house. The question is ……is it chew proof?

  9. Our new dog Bandit has been a great addition to our family! I love how he’s really calm most of the time but is always up for running around and playing when given attention. I also love how he’s really starting to bond with Allie.

  10. Well, our Baxter boy is a Jack Russell/Dachshund and seriously loves blankets. That my favorite thing about him! He’ll pull the blanket off the back or arm of the couch to curl up on that thing. Also, his eternal puppy face.

  11. Such a great deal! Our little doxie, Baxter LOVES his bed…and his blanket. He is quite a night owl and whenever I try to make him get out of bed before its ‘time’, he makes strange noises and only sticks his nose out from underneath his blanket…oh yeah, he HAS to have a blanket over his head to sleep. He is a funny one!

  12. My puppy Piper is just a year old and still hasn’t found that “perfect” place to sleep. She spends loads of time circling items I’ve tried but I haven’t found one she loves yet. I’d love to try this one!

  13. We Lab and aGoldendoodle. I would like for our Goldendoodle, Sophie, to be in the house more. She is so happy to see us and can make us smile even when we thought we just did not have it in us. I would love to have a bed that I can throw in the washer. We have tried different ones with covers, but it would be nice to throw the whole thing in. Thanks MollyG for the invite!

  14. Our dog Mabel is a corgy-jack Russell mix. She’s so affectionate and social and obedient. I think she’s the best dog in the world 🙂 Thanks for sponsoring the giveaway!

  15. Our dog Mabel is a Jack Russel-Corgy mix. My favorite thing about her is when she lays down beside me and looks into my eyes as though she knows exactly what I’m thinking. She’s a sweet little companion. Thanks for sponsoring the giveaway!

  16. My baby girl Luna is a rescue Shih-Tzu (maybe a little Affenpinscher in there, too!). My favorite thing about Luna is that even though she had a horrible puppyhood that resulted in her having to have three major surgeries, she is still a little spitfire so full of love and life, and makes me smile everyday!
