One of the first posts I felt compelled to write when I started blogging a few months ago was about my most favorite cleaning products, the E-Cloth Polishing Cloth. I heart them. I really do. My husband jokes that someone needs to put me behind a booth with a headset microphone at the state fair and I’d sell them like hotcakes….because I am sold. Any product that does an excellent job and uses ZERO chemicals is a winner in my book (apparently Real Simple loves their products as much as me, because e-cloth won in more then one category in their cleaning-products road test).
It still ranks as one of my most popular posts, and I guess that’s because we all want to know how to save time, use less chemicals, and be happy with the outcome.
I was delighted when e-cloth contacted me about doing a sponsored post on their pet line. I had no idea they even had a pet line! It was providential when they generously offered me the Pet Home & Travel bed to review, as Nathan had just mentioned a few days before that we needed to buy Scout a new dog bed.
The e-cloth bed is very well made. I had my doubts at first about the shape, because Scout has always liked those traditional dog beds that are shaped like a doughnut, so he can snuggle up in the middle. He’s picky about his dog beds. Apparently high maintenance sleeping runs in the family. We have found him drag many dog beds out through the garage and into the backyard if he deems them unacceptable. It does not matter how many times we bring it back in, when he rejects a dog bed, he rejects it whole-hardheartedly, forever and ever. Amen.
This ecloth pet bed has the ability to be a travel bed or an at-home bed, or both. I was impressed by it’s capability to roll up small with velcro to hold it closed, making it convenient to store or travel with.
It’s washable (I have not washed it yet, but do plan to soon), from what I can tell the seams are well-sewn…one side is plus, the other is a very cute check pattern. The patterned side is a durable fabric that I would probably describe as an outdoor or some sort of “sunbrella” style fabric, but still soft. It’s cushy enough for your pet, but not bulky.
Honestly, it didn’t matter what I thought. Scout was the one that has to sleep on it, and as I already mentioned, he’s picky! It sat for a day or two while he circled around it….sniffed it….considered his options. Finally, one day, he gave it the “Scout Seal Of Approval”.
Friends, that’s about as reliable as the “Good Housekeeping” seal or an endorsement from Real Simple magazine.
He’s a satisfied client, I would say, wouldn’t you agree?
